About Us

Craftinsure Ireland Limited is a privately owned Underwriting Agency providing an online insurance facility on behalf of Tokio Marine Europe SA. Craftinsure Ireland was set up over 15 years ago to provide an easy and competitive way to insure pleasure craft and has since become one of the largest boat insurers in Ireland. We only insure Boats. And as a ‘Quote and Buy’ online business we pass on the cost savings of being online. We are direct to customers only – we do not deal with brokers or marinas, so you get the savings.

Craftinsure Ireland was started in 2008 following the success of Craftinsure’s launch in the UK in 2001. We were the first to provide a complete boat insurance service online - removing the paper chase that we saw in boat insurance.
